The Graduate Research Colloquium is open to all postgraduate students who are working in any area of Modern Greek Studies, at master’s or doctoral level, at UK Universities. Visiting students from universities outside the UK are also welcome to attend. The provisional programme is available here. Here is some further practical information.
Registration:
There is no registration fee, but we do need to know in advance how many people will attend. Please e-mail me by Friday 13 June if you plan to come. The final programme and abstracts of the papers will be available from 10.45 am, in the Chadwick Room, Selwyn College.
Lunch:
A buffet lunch will be available, but advance booking is essential. If you wish to have lunch, please let me know by Friday 13 June at the latest. The cost (considerably subsidised) is £5. You will be asked to pay during the Colloquium. Please note that there are no alternative places to get lunch nearby, in the time available.
How to get there:
Selwyn College is located on the corner of Grange Road and Sidgwick Avenue, about 1 mile from the Railway Station and half a mile from the Coach Station. For maps and directions to the College, see: http://www.sel.cam.ac.uk/college/College-Facilities/Directions/
There is limited parking in the vicinity of the College. Those travelling by car should report to the Porters’ Lodge on arrival, for advice on where to park.
We look forward to seeing you at the Colloquium.
