I am happy to inform you that we are now preparing the programme for the FIFTEENTH Hydra Rebetiko Gathering. You are cordially invited to join us.

The Gathering will take place on the weekend of Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th October 2015. Admission is free for all participants.

The programme will follow the customary format:

Thursday evening - Informal Rebetiko session for early arrivers - Venue to be announced

Friday evening - Informal Rebetiko session - probably at Loulou's Restaurant

Saturday daytime - Possibility of workshops, seminars etc - Melina Mercouri Hall

Saturday evening - Rebetiko Supper and Concert - Douskos Restaurant ("Xeri elia")

Sunday daytime - Rebetiko jam session in the Harbour.

Monday evening - Our customary "farewell" jam session at a bar somewhere in Athens.

I am pleased to announce that this year's gathering will feature a strong presence of musicians of the SOAS Rebetiko Band.
