"Utopolis: the Utopia Gateway": vacancy for project leader

Professor Gregory Claeys (Department of History, Royal Holloway, University of London: g.claeys@rhul.ac.uk) is looking for a Greek historian or literature scholar to head the Greek section of a project entitled "Utopolis: the Utopia Gateway".

This project will translate into English a substantial number of utopian primary sources from all of the major European utopian traditions, subject to a successful grant application. The national project leaders would be responsible for drawing up a list of eligible texts (some 15-20) and commissioning and overseeing the translation process. A limited number of texts will also be translated from English into Greek (and other languages). It is hoped that a small fee will be payable to national project leaders though most of the grant would be expended on translation.
