The Society for Modern Greek Studies
has the pleasure of inviting all those interested in the culture of the Greek-speaking world to the festive and inaugural part of its first Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Saturday 28 June 2008 at 4.30 p.m. in King’s College London.
2.30 p.m. Inaugural AGM of SMGS (for members only) (the exact location of this meeting in KCL will be circulated nearer the time)
This will be followed by a Public meeting in the Edmund J. Safra Lecture Theatre, King’s Building, Strand Campus, King’s College London
4.30 p.m. Words of Welcome and Introductory Speeches
5.00 p.m. Keynote Lecture by Professor Edith Hall (Royal Holloway, University of London)
