King's College London: Lecturer in Modern Greek Literature (Fixed-term)

Applications are invited for a fixed-term lectureship in Modern Greek Literature in the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies at King’s College London, starting in September 2009, for 3 years. The vacancy arises from the award of a Major Leverhulme Fellowship to Professor Roderick Beaton.
University of Reading: Summer School in Modern Greek 2009
The University of Reading will be running its Summer School in Modern Greek from 29th June to 4th July 2009.
Classes will be offered at two levels, Beginners and Intermediate, and will occupy 3-4 hours per day. Accommodation is available on campus for those who would like it. Further information, and application forms, can be found at:

Thanks to a generous grant from the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages invites applications for a three-year postgraduate studentship in Modern Greek Studies, beginning in October 2009. Candidates should have a first class or upper second class degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and should normally have completed, or be completing, a master’s degree in order to be accepted for a PhD at Cambridge.
